Bio

Gustavo Dübbern, native of Uberlândia-Brazil, started his music journey at the age of 8 encouraged by his uncle and inspired by the french composer and keyboardist Jean-Michel Jarré.

At 11 he joined the State Conservatory of Music Cora Pavan Caparelli where he studied Musical Theory, Classical Guitar and Drums for 9 years.

In his teens, "Gus" worked with several regional and great national artists, like the country music duo Guilherme & Santiago.

 

In 2007, at the age of 22, he moved to the city of São Paulo, where he was part of the Christian Rock band Ceremonya, nominated in 2017 to the Latin Grammy Awards® with the album “A Vida Num Segundo” and twice winner of the brazillian award Trofeu Louvemos o Senhor as “Best Rock Album”.

In the last decade, he was also support band member of the renowned Brazilian priest, Father Marcelo Rossi in hundreds of masses broadcast in more than 50 countries with a public average of 25 thousand people, concerts and TV shows.

He has also worked as a music educator, hired live musician and participated in studio sessions for several artists.

 

His most recent works was as YAMAHA Musical Brazil Artist, promoting workshops across the country, consulting as string instruments especialist and also with the “Orquestra de Sucata” (Junkyard Orchestra), social and environmental project aimed at children in need of public education, as instructor, producer and musician.
